New Addition and Bath Time

Ok so on Wednesday I went to the pet store and returned home with a new addition to my family! Her name is Oryx and she is a Tangerine Tornado Leopard Gecko, she officially has her own blog and wont be taking up space on Rylee's except for one picture to meet her, and this explanation. However, the reason for telling you this is because of what happened when Rylee got a first look at her new sister.

So what do you think, angry dragon or what? I can't decide however if it is because of Territory, whether she got scared, or simply jealousy that her new mother decided to welcome another into the family? lol. I will also be posting at the end of this entry a picture of the new nametag I made for Rylee's tank, but first I wanted to mention that Rylee hasn't been going to the washroom as often as I would like her to, so I've started giving her baths almost everyday, and usually she will go in the water which is gross but hey, easy clean up. But heres last night's bath time when someone a little more furry decided to join us in the bathroom. *Siamese Cat Lynus*

Update Time!

Ok so the only little bit of an update I have for Rylee is WE FINALLY KNOW THE GENDER! I'M SO EXCITED! IT IS..... *drum roll*....... a girl! so my little Rylee is a little girl and I'm so happy to finally know for sure :) Well here are some pictures I have been meaning to upload for a long time but never got around to, as well as a hilarious video involving Rylee thinking my nailpolish is a Raspberry! :D

Ok so like the post title says I bought a leash for Rylee today. I put it on him and it was quite clear he had no interest in it at all! lmao. So after looking at how funny he looked and giggling to myself I let the poor guy out of it and out him back in his tank. I didn't get a picture and I'm busy tomorow but as soon as I can (hopefully Friday) I will post a picture of my funny looking baby in his leash. Also I measured him today and he's grown to 16"!!! My baby is growing up!

Got two videos of Rylee to share with you, one is him just running over to his rock and the other was suppossed to be him eating lettuce, but of course he stopped when he noticed the camera! He does take one little bite though!

Tail Shed

Just an update from yesterday, (was too busy to blog) That Rylee's tail managed to shed off all at once yesterday and he looked pretty uncomfortable but he's better now, also once his tail started shedding his two back legs went grey so I'm assuming they will shed tomorow or today. Rylee isn't pooping everyday either and I'm wondering if this is healthy for him, he gets one out about every other day. Any suggestions would be welcome! :)

Update w/lots of pics

Ok so I haven't updated in a while because I have been extremely preoccupied with quite a few new things. I got Rylee tested again and luckily the Ringworms and Pinworms are gone however his Coccidia is still there so he's back on medicine for 21 days! Also he got a new Tank which is HUGE and he seems to really enjoy it so far! dimensions are 48" x 18" x 21"! So huge compaired to his old 30" x 12" x 12"! I'll be posting quite a few pictures on this blog entry considering I haven't uploaded any in awhile! So he's blackbearding alot today but II'm hoping its just relocation stress and nothing to do with the fact that I think his tail has been trying to shed for a few weeks now.. I'll find out soon I guess since his face is starting to shed today! Ok PICTURE TIME!

Ok this entry was posted Feb 10th but something went wrong and I didn't feel like fixing it and ya.. so I'm reposting it then posting my newest entry. Ok excuses excuses I know but I really have been busy lately! I don't think there is much to update except the fact that Rylee has started falling asleep on my chest at night and chillin out for hours on end. Still pretty psycho when hes awake though lol. So I have a lot of pictures and my has my little baby grown! Also its almost time to get him tested again to see if he's clean of the parasites! Hope he is! Charlie wants to play with Rylee lol He looks like he EXPLODED! Rubbing faceskin off on the log lol My Mom stuck a leaf on his head and he didn't know what to do.. Sleeping on mommy under my sweater :)
