New Years
Been so sick and distracted since Christmas I haven't been able to take many pictures of Rylee or my other reptiles this break but I promise when I return to Toronto next week they will return and show up on a way more regular basis again, I do have two simple ones to share right now and Rylee wishes you all a happy new year!

Trapped Snack
So nothing much new has happened with my recently 1 year old baby, except she is starting to shed on a regular basis again instead of going very long periods of time without. I really need to get a cheap spare 75G tank to keep in Guelph for when I go home for prolonged periods of time. December is coming and that means luggin Rylee as well as the tank back to the parents' house. But that isn't something to worry about yet, time for a funny story! I fed Rylee a ton of crickets and the picture I am about to post was quite amusing, if you look closely there is a Cricket trapped between her tail and the glass of the tank. I watched her stare at this cricket while it tried desperately to climb up the glass for five minutes. When the little thing finally made it over her tail to freedom, she gobbled it up. It was so funny yet made me feel a little sad, my baby is kind of cruel!! lol

Birthday!!!!
No big news this time, but just thought I'd update because of the fact that it was Rylee's birthday yesterday!!! My baby is 1 year old and I'm so happy! She's still sweet as ever, but doesn't like to cuddle quite as much as she used to.. hopefully she'll grow out of that and like cuddling again! Now time for some birthday pictures!

So the only update I have about Rylee is the fact that her tail changed colours a few days ago yet she has still not shed! She has what kind of looks like a sore on one scale of her tail although it could be just one spot that managed to shed in the middle while the rest did not follow. She's been having daily baths but nothing has changed yet. One of her back feet has started to shed a bit but the tail has me concerned. Oh! I also put sand in her cage to make cleaning easier and I don't think she's gotten used to it yet since she's never been on it before in her life lol. Now like all my other posts about Rylee it shall turn into a photo dump! Some of these are old that I found off my old cell phone but I feel the need to share anyway.

Big Update
Now for the oh so famous short description and long photo dump that these blog posts are turning into! The entertaining or interesting stories I used to have about Rylee all the time kind of stopped when she got fullgrown and lazy haha. I do have one interesting thing to say the fact that she has been going this weird glass dance/scratching at the corner of her tank for a few weeks, so I took the advice of both the pet store and the vet and put in a laybox of vermiculite, and after a week the dancing stopped however she didn't lay any eggs. So I took the box out and now she only does that dance after she poops... Which is normal. Its kind of sad when you have to try and run away from your own poop.. Anyways now time for pictures including some of the stupid places she decided to sleep around my apartment.
