Leash

Ok so like the post title says I bought a leash for Rylee today. I put it on him and it was quite clear he had no interest in it at all! lmao. So after looking at how funny he looked and giggling to myself I let the poor guy out of it and out him back in his tank. I didn't get a picture and I'm busy tomorow but as soon as I can (hopefully Friday) I will post a picture of my funny looking baby in his leash. Also I measured him today and he's grown to 16"!!! My baby is growing up!

Got two videos of Rylee to share with you, one is him just running over to his rock and the other was suppossed to be him eating lettuce, but of course he stopped when he noticed the camera! He does take one little bite though!

Tail Shed

Just an update from yesterday, (was too busy to blog) That Rylee's tail managed to shed off all at once yesterday and he looked pretty uncomfortable but he's better now, also once his tail started shedding his two back legs went grey so I'm assuming they will shed tomorow or today. Rylee isn't pooping everyday either and I'm wondering if this is healthy for him, he gets one out about every other day. Any suggestions would be welcome! :)

Update w/lots of pics

Ok so I haven't updated in a while because I have been extremely preoccupied with quite a few new things. I got Rylee tested again and luckily the Ringworms and Pinworms are gone however his Coccidia is still there so he's back on medicine for 21 days! Also he got a new Tank which is HUGE and he seems to really enjoy it so far! dimensions are 48" x 18" x 21"! So huge compaired to his old 30" x 12" x 12"! I'll be posting quite a few pictures on this blog entry considering I haven't uploaded any in awhile! So he's blackbearding alot today but II'm hoping its just relocation stress and nothing to do with the fact that I think his tail has been trying to shed for a few weeks now.. I'll find out soon I guess since his face is starting to shed today! Ok PICTURE TIME!

Ok this entry was posted Feb 10th but something went wrong and I didn't feel like fixing it and ya.. so I'm reposting it then posting my newest entry. Ok excuses excuses I know but I really have been busy lately! I don't think there is much to update except the fact that Rylee has started falling asleep on my chest at night and chillin out for hours on end. Still pretty psycho when hes awake though lol. So I have a lot of pictures and my has my little baby grown! Also its almost time to get him tested again to see if he's clean of the parasites! Hope he is! Charlie wants to play with Rylee lol He looks like he EXPLODED! Rubbing faceskin off on the log lol My Mom stuck a leaf on his head and he didn't know what to do.. Sleeping on mommy under my sweater :)

Disinfecting

Ok so today I spent so effing long cleaning Rylee's Tank and disinfecting everything it was so freaking ridiculous. It took forever and now I'm stuck being super paranoid about whether i cleaned everything enough and whether I rinsed everything out enough and ugh. Its stressful with a sick baby. He's still taking his medicine very well but I was reading the information book I got (finally) and found tips on getting rid of Coccidia and apparently its more difficult then how my vet explained.. I figure I'll try my vet's method then if he's still infected I'll do the more hardcore way I read in the book. My mom (Grandma) finally got up the nerve to hold Rylee today after I showed her how good he's getting with being handled. So without further ado, PICTURES!

Hell

This week has been hell because I have been in my house alone for a week with my parents gone taking care of my Dobermann Amy, my two Siamese cats Lynus and Charlie, my Hermit Crabs Akito Ayame Kisa Momiji and Ristu as well as Rylee himself. So a few days back his poop started to look funny and smell HORRIBLE so I got worried and talked my aunt into taking Rylee and I to the vet. Sure enough the poor little guy has pin worms, ring worms and coccidia.. so 185$ later he is on 3 different medications which he actually takes pretty well. The cutest thing ever happened at the vet's though because he was trying to be tough and puff out his beard but hes so small and it didnt go black all it ended up doing was melting my heart and making me laugh. Also after being at the vets for an hour the little guy started feeling kind of cold so I wrapped him in my sweater to try and keep him warm. So my pictures for this week are Rylee wrapped in my sweater at the vets, and one old picture I have posted already of him sleeping on his twig when I got him, and a new one of him sleeping on the same twig now! He went from 6inches to 9.25 inches :D
